These rules are designed to ensure a peaceful, safe and respectful living environment for all Casa Victoria residents. Compliance is part of the commitment accepted when confirming a stay.
Residents should always treat each other with courtesy and respect. We value everyone's privacy and the atmosphere in shared spaces. Any behaviour that disrupts coexistence or creates insecurity will not be tolerated.
From Monday to Thursday, quiet hours are from 23:00 to 08:00. On Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays, quiet hours start at 00:00. During these times, residents should keep noise low in common areas and respect silence in corridors and bedrooms.
The kitchen, living room, laundry room and corridors are shared spaces. They must be left clean and tidy after use: wipe surfaces, remove expired items from the fridge, take laundry out of the washer/dryer, and do not leave personal belongings in common areas.
Each resident is responsible for the daily order and care of their room. The weekly cleaning service includes the room and a change of bed linen and towels; it does not include personal cleaning of utensils, individual appliances or valuables.
Visitors are welcome as long as other residents are informed in advance and quiet hours are respected. People who are not party to the rental agreement may not stay overnight without prior written authorisation from management.
Each resident is responsible for making sure the main entrance door and their bedroom door are properly closed when leaving. The access code is personal and non-transferable. It must not be shared with third parties or left in visible places.
The monthly rent must be paid within the first five working days of each month. Utilities (water, electricity, heating, internet) are included in the rent within reasonable usage. Excessive or abnormal consumption may be reviewed.
Smoking inside the residence, holding parties or events that disturb coexistence, carrying out works or alterations to installations or furniture, and using common areas for purposes other than those intended are all prohibited.
No pets of any kind (dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles or any other animals) may be brought into or kept inside the residence, terraces, balconies or common areas. This prohibition also applies to visitors and temporary stays. The presence of a pet will result in termination of the rental agreement without the right to a refund of the deposit.
Each resident has assigned space in the fridge and pantry. Dishes and utensils must be washed and put away immediately after cooking; do not leave food out or consume other people's products. Shared appliances (oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher) must be left clean after every use.
From Monday to Friday and on Sunday, organic waste, recyclable packaging and residual waste must be taken out in the appropriate bags to the landing between 19:00 and 19:30 for collection by the building concierge. Outside these days and times, waste will not be collected by the concierge and it is strictly forbidden to leave it on the landing. If you need to dispose of waste after 20:00, you must personally take the bags down to the building's bins located in the street opposite the entrance. Paper/cardboard and glass waste must be deposited in the specific containers placed by the Madrid City Council in the street for this purpose. Oils, bulky waste and hazardous products must not be poured down the drains.
The laundry room is shared and used in turns. Do not leave clothes inside the washer or dryer once the cycle has finished, and do not hang garments in common areas, balconies or exterior windows. Please use it during daytime hours so as not to disturb others' rest.
Terraces and balconies are for the exclusive use of the room they belong to. Throwing objects, cigarette butts or liquids outside, placing unsecured plant pots, or installing fixed elements without authorisation is prohibited. Please be especially mindful of outdoor noise during quiet hours.
Wi-Fi is included and shared. It may not be used for unlawful activities, unauthorised downloads, or to install equipment that saturates the network. The access password is for internal use and must not be shared with people outside the house.
Any breakdown, leak, damage or incident must be reported to management as soon as possible through the designated channels. Residents should not carry out repairs themselves. Damage caused by misuse or negligence will be charged to the responsible resident.
Arrivals and departures are arranged in advance with management within the agreed hours. On departure, the room must be handed over empty, clean and in the same condition in which it was received, returning all digital access codes. Moves must avoid quiet hours and must not block common areas.
The deposit guarantees the good condition of the room and its furnishings. It is refunded after departure, once it has been verified that there is no damage, missing inventory or outstanding amounts, within the period set out in the agreement.
Each resident is responsible for managing their own deliveries. Parcels must be collected promptly and may not accumulate in the entrance or common areas. Casa Victoria is not liable for lost deliveries or parcels handed to third parties.
Residents should know the location of exits and fire extinguishers. Tampering with electrical or security installations is prohibited, as is the use of candles, portable stoves or unauthorised heaters. Personal insurance is recommended: Casa Victoria is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings.
If you will be away for more than a week, please notify management for security and maintenance reasons. The room must be left locked, with no perishable food and all electrical appliances switched off.
Recording or photographing other residents or common areas without their consent is not allowed, nor is publishing images of the residence for commercial purposes. Residents' personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Casa Victoria's management will act as a mediator in any incident or disagreement between residents. If a situation seriously affects coexistence or repeatedly breaches the house rules, management reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement as set out in the particular conditions.
Casa Victoria is not liable for the loss, theft, misplacement or damage of personal belongings, money, jewellery, documents, electronic devices or any other valuables kept in a resident's room or in common areas. Personal insurance is recommended, valuables should not be left unattended or in plain sight, and both the bedroom door and the main entrance must be locked when leaving.
Confirming a booking and moving into the residence implies full acceptance of these rules. Casa Victoria may update them to improve coexistence, notifying residents of any change with reasonable notice.
We are available to answer any questions about the house rules or your future stay at Casa Victoria.
